The 38-year-old Portuguese football icon, Ronaldo, exhibited his longevity by not only reaching this remarkable milestone but also playing a pivotal role in securing the crucial win for his team. His goal came in the 31st minute as he tapped in a cross from Sadio Mane, breaking the deadlock. Additionally, he assisted Otavio just before half-time with a well-executed cross, leading to a headed goal.

Despite completing an astonishing 1,200 matches in his 21-year career since his professional debut with Sporting CP in 2002, Ronaldo expressed no intentions of slowing down. Approaching his 39th birthday on February 5, Ronaldo continues to defy age, evident in his outstanding performance this year, boasting 49 goals—just one less than Erling Haaland, who has 50.
